I am obsessed with good interviews. and I love good interviewers. Letterman has been around forever, but he has always been the more funny guy, rather than the good interviewer that digs down deep. BUT now, I am blown away by all the interviews. So far I’ve seen, Kanye West, Ellen Degeneres and Barack Obama. But I’m going to watch them all. So just a tip!
If a genie would pop up and give me a free wish, it would be to have my own talk show. Interviewing people. Getting deep and really asking them questions that no one ever asks them and gives them the space to be them. When I was working with Nyden at H&M, I would have something called “Creative Sessions” with our artist. The first one we would have together, just me and them, would be just a 2-3 hour talk about everything. Getting to know them. And they always ended up telling me everything. We would cry together. Draw up the future. You name it. and I think they loved it as much as I did. Because I think people sometimes forget that “famous” people are people too. And people are always too scared to ask the real questions. And ever since then, it’s been my dream. I actually miss that quite alot about my job. It was so unique. And it taught me so much about people. Understanding them. And something I found to be crucial of our creative process together.
So yea, if you have a genie out there. Holla at me :)
